RoAnti-220 Reverse Osmosis Antiscalant Description RoAnti-220 is a highly effective liquid antiscalant/antifoulant developed to control scale precipitates and reduce particulate fouling within membrane separation systems. Use of this product provides longer run times and extended element life resulting in reduced operating and capital costs.Years of use in industrial applications show excellent results in membrane separation processes including reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF) applications. Technical Specification Appearance: Light yellow to amber liquid Density, g/cm3 at 21℃: 1.1~1.2 pH: 2.3~2.4 Viscosity (cps 21℃): 14cps Solubility: Completely soluble in water Freeze Point : -4℃ Characteristic Excellent results as a replacement for softenerfilters Compatible with RoFloc-150 flocculant/ coagulant Classified for use in producing potable water.(Classified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60) Effectively controls scales including calciumcarbonate up to LSI +3.0, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and strontium sulfate Compatible with all of the leading RO membranes Maintains cleaner membrane surfaces by dispersing particulate foulants Effective over a wide pH range May be fed neat or diluted Good tolerance to aluminum and iron oxides Usage For maximum effectiveness, RoAnti-220 should be added prior to the static mixer or cartridge filter housing. The maximum dosage is 10 mg/L. Maximum dilution is 10% with RO permeate or DI water. Dosage Typical dosage range is between 2 and 6 mg/L. Important Note: Over and under-dosing may cause membrane fouling so please contact our engineer to define the optimal feed point and dosage rate. Maximum dilution depends on local temperature, usually dilution is 10%. Storage To be stored in cool and ventilated warehouse, avoid direct exposure in the sunshine.
